Music in the video games: my favorite topics

Now that the video games are visual spectacles in which the screen fills with thousands of million colors and of polygons turning round there, I it seems that I go cross-current. In this post I become somewhat melancholic and rescue another aspect of the video games that normally happens unnoticed, his music.
I do not want to bore with a list of names "japos" famous for his musical compositions in the video games, which it goes, everything opposite. My intention is that it discovers the whole world that there are topics in the video games that are authentic musical marvels and that this of the frikis of the mandito of the console expands in areas beyond the proper consoles.
Like there are already a few years those that I take in this of being given by the control to the hands, there will be topics much "retro" and others not so much. I hope the less, you to be able to surprise because at the end of the post I will leave a brief advance of the importance that goes to receive the music in the video games from now on in VGinside.com ^^
We begin with a soniquete who has accompanied me for years and years. It is of the SNES and like not, it belongs to his famous tubby plumber: Super Mario World!

We continue in 16 Nintendo bits to raise to me nostalgic altars the Legend of Zelda: To link to the Past and his enormous sound-track, from which I emphasize the principal topic

Another title that bewildered me for his music was Super Castlevania IV and his setting Gothic - draculesca... the game is not of the best of the SNES but his sound-track was elevated like one of the best of the genre plataformero

Changing third but not games console... my beloved and reborn Street Fighter II, here in homage so much to five five-peseta coins that we were beginning in the recreational ones as when it left for SNES... as there were rattling the managers of the brain of the beast!!

Metal Gear Solid 2 for PS2 discovered the good one to me to do of Harry Gregson-Williams in the musical composition. In addition to being a big game it possesses a few musical topics worth being listened of way separated to the action of hiding and of shooting, that's why a CD was coming with the game with the sound-track.

Metal Gear Solid 3 for ps2, another big sound-track worth being listened peacefully, how sample left the intro topic to you to the style James Bond...

Finally and not less important a topic left, that of the FIFA 98 (boy that it has not rained either) that was pioneering in the sports musical genre since it introduced songs of groups either acquaintances as its own "sound-track". This tendency was increasing since then and it has come to our days with the foundation on the part of Electronic Arts of EA Trax, shop online of the music of his video games and mark of which from now on I am going to be an active collaborator.

For that he wonders of whom it is the song to say to you that this intro topic is interpreted by Blur.
The same week an English group hoped to have prepared an interview with PINT SHOT RIOT much plumber who has begun distributing his music in the shape of collaborations in the video games. They do not have their own disc yet and they appear already in qualifications as FIFA 10, SIMS 3 and NFL 10 authentic hits of the video games. In January they are going to publish his first disc and we will have here some sample of his music... do not lose it!!
